days for SMITH
PHILIPSBURG--The last day to register for the St. Maarten Institute of Technology and Hospitality (SMITH) programme is only a few days away. The application period for the new Spring Semester-2008 will end Friday, January 18.
SMITH Education Coordinator Sidonia M. Hodge said members of the public wanting to enrol in the Workforce Development Programmes should visit the office of SMITH to register for the course.
The office, which is open from 8:30am to 4:00pm is located upstairs next to the Central Drugstore on the E. Camille Richardson Street 23 in Philipsburg. Interested persons can pass by to pick up an application form and/or request information regarding the programmes to be offered in the fields of Business Administration Assistant, Cook, Hotel, Restaurant and Café HORECA operations with partial training in Tourism Activities and Information Technology Service Assistant & General Security.
