National Dialogue on
constitutional change


PHILIPSBURG--The National Dialogue on Constitutional Affairs will take place in Curaçao on February 29 and March 1.

Plenary sessions will be held with introduction of experts to stimulate the discussions on the various topics of constitutional change, the Central Government Information Service announced in a press release issued.

Prime Minister Emily de Jongh-Elhage had announced some weeks ago that the National Dialogue would take place. The dialogue will be in light of giving more information about the constitutional change process now it has reached the point where discussions can take place on concrete matters.

All sectors in the community will be invited to participate. Documents will be provided with relevant information.

Information can also be obtained on the Central Government Website www.gov.an .

The Prime Minister will give an introduction on February 29. Former governor Jaime Saleh will talk about the relationships within the Kingdom and Mito Croes will give an outline of the cooperation with Aruba.

Topics such as building country Curaçao, public finances and Justice will be discussed on March 1.
