Alexander’s Kantoor
joins [RED] campaign
PHILIPSBURG--Alexander’s Kantoor, a company specialising in Financial Administration, has joined the HIV/AIDS [RED] Campaign as a show of support and to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS.
HIV/AIDS Programme Manager Suzette Moses-Burton said a number of small businesses have shown interest in the campaign. Those interested are encouraged to contact the HIV/AIDS Programme Management Team.
In a press release on Monday, the Programme Management Team said the campaign was not solely for the businesses that have already committed to ‘adopting’ designated months, but new ones could join as well.
Manager at Alexander’s Kantoor Nichola Desuza was quoted as saying that the campaign was “very important” especially for the youth, who don’t always use protection. “By means of the [RED] Campaign they will understand how to practise safe sex,” Desuza said in the release.
“All the employees at Alexander’s Kantoor accept being a part of the [RED] Campaign with open arms and think it is a great idea to be able to help raise awareness of the disease,” it was stated in the release.
