Intense fundraising drive
to rebuild I Can Home
DUTCH QUARTER--Eight months after the I Can Foundation Foster Home was destroyed by fire, the 22 foster children of varying ages are still living in a cramped house that is insufficient for their needs. To remedy this situation, an intensive fundraising drive is in progress.
Themed “U Can 4 I Can,” the month-long “buy a block” campaign aims to raise as much money as possible to begin the rebuilding of a new home that is designed to cater to the needs of all foster children. The initiative, by a private citizen, is endorsed by the foundation.
Individuals or companies that want to donate to the rebuilding programme can deposit funds at Windward Islands Bank (WIB) on US dollars account 20485508 or guilders account 100955300. The minimum donation is US $2.
